The children from the Chipping Schools visit Heron Corn Mill

Miller  Stuart Hobbs took the children on a spell binding  exploration of the corn mill.  From the grain arriving at the mill until its departure as flour the children were able to engage in the story asking questions and absorbing what interested them.

The picture shows the kiln where the grain would be dried prior to milling.
